IF "RD" is right that $20 to $40 billion dollars is going to the DTCC they must release ALL FUNDS ASAP...not hold them for quarterly payments ...IT should be a one time payment under the radar....not showing the world of 30 to 50 payments for their theft..thats just me...

Well, all my other thoughts aside, if I just follow this suggestion. You state that it would be .38 Dollar per Qtr, plus interest. What I`m wondering, do you really expect the Trusts, which more or less would only hold the current "money" without generating new business and would be just in run off mode, resulting in less and less dividends each Qtr?

I mean, otherwise the Trustee would have to run and operate WMI in safe harbor as it would be still running 100% in business. So wouldn`t any real expectable number be much smaller?

From your keyboard to His ears. Perfect it is :-)
For somebody like Mike W with 1 million common escrows:
.38 * 51 * 1,000,000 = $ 19,380,000

If your estimating based on pre seizure of .38 - .50 and only 2/3 released, wouldnt that increase the payable dividend by one third .67 - .75 ? If not, who do the non released dividends go to?

AZ, Given the WAMU pre-bk dividend history of ~0.25-0.5 per qtr, how are the remote assets of the parent coming anywhere near your 0.38 figure. Is it the reduced overhead or is it that the 95% of the company that the receiver still retains was never productive anyway? TIA for breaking that down for us.G
