Reverse engineer.... The formula and the molecule structure have already been published. There is nothing to reverse engineer.

AFAIK there is nothing magic about the manufacturing of 2-73. The recently crystalized form may be a bit more of a challenge.

The handing it out for free could be a real problem.

No need to reverse engineer A2-73, its molecular structure has been public for years.

What we need is strong IP protection and then that the Chinese and anyone else will respect the ownership and scope of that IP. Alternatively, if not that Anavex is able to enforce their IP in China and elsewhere.
