You might want to review your understanding of option open interest as your comment is meaningless as an open contract has both a buyer to open and a seller to open.

The fact that there are both buyers and sellers in any option with an open interest goes to show that nobody really knows.



A large open interest is simply an indication of interest in that equity at that price for that time period. Trying to devine directional bias on simple open interest is flawed logic at best as both directional sides of the market are represented.

But that said option interest is good, just don't attempt to apply a directional bias as you do not know the true position of the the open contract holders.
