I have taken quite a few CNS drugs. One has left me with a permanent tremor.

I don't take any CNS drugs now because long term they all either stopped working or caused negative side effects. I do take Naltrexone in subclinical doses because it is anti inflammatory.

There are other ways to manage CNS issues, among them are nutritional supplements and breathing and physical exercises that down regulate autonomic over reaction. None of these techniques cause long term side effects.

Medicine is not "little understood". Long term physiological harm is ignored and pharma knows it. This is why there is no long term testing of these drugs, only a crappy FDA adverse event reporting system.

Provisional approval with long term safety testing in a P4 population is a much safer protocol.
