I'm not going in circles. The answers the same as where the rain comes from in the Sahara. It would be the same principle just applied to the desert region of the US.

One massive solar farm is not going to happen. For many reasons it will not happen.

Solar only makes up 2% of US energy generation despite the massive uptake in investment since 2015.
