Outstanding shares increased only by 120,000 or so between June 30 and August 3, when things were significantly more dicey. For much of the past 2.5 months (other than quadruple witching day, the last few days of September before anticipated data and from last Thursday onward), volume has been anemic. I don't think your supposition is accurate, despite your extreme confidence.
