CoNextions was such a NON EVENT for me 5 years ago I forgot all about them, and I guess for a good reason. 14 days we start the REAL revenue journey and it will be a long ride! Apple will be in the mix at some point, maybe this year, but odds are 2021-2023...
conextions contract is for the anvil not the implants.
not only is the anvil/grooves cheaper/faster to mold compared to using cnc to form the anvil then carve individual grooves into stainless steel but lqmt also precisely curves the stainless steel implants into the tendon without risking metal shaving being scraped of the anvil.
with a stainless steel implant curved with a stainless steel anvil the risk of metal shaving contaminates being introduced into the tendon would be high/unacceptable when both metals are of equal hardness.
regarding the ‘Coronet™ Soft Tissue Fixation System’ its good to see that conextions are again customers of another lqmt product the biodegradable pins/screws/anchors/staples.
lqmt offerings/products are growing/diversifying ground floor baby.
