Anavex was given the 1st Late Breaking Live Session at CTAD. I think that is meaningful. Anavex knows of excellent results, Dr. Aarsland knows it, and the committee at CTAD knows it.
That Missling is unsure how to characterize the information he does have is a given. He seems to be repeating past performance by formulating the spin while releasing the unverifiable.
Nothing in the PR could reasonably be construed as hype even by the naysayers, but nothing he said can be a declaration to which he is wed.
The data may be very well received either at or after CTAD, but it will be scrutinized ONLY when made available and that is not yet.
