I agree with AJ and others, we need an attorney with skin in-the-game.
The legal costs will only grow and grow.
The 14-hour retainer is the hook and grows from there.
I'm in on paying for a review or analysis of our lawsuit, but don't want to pay hourly long-term.
Plus, we may need a second opinion (at least tell them that when negotiate).
Then there are the attorney expenses (time to compile all our info, travel to attend arbitration, etc).
It will end-up being over $100k.
