You're right, he didn't need to understand the geology issues to clearly see all the other red flags - single person BOD and no accountability, toxic debt, no credible third party opinions, and the immense dollars sunk into a rat hole over the last decade. Actually multiple rat holes (San Felix, Santa Elena, Ures, cable recovery, etc.)
