why would Dr. Missling submit it for peer review and want to announce the data at a major science conference?
Maybe because what he says and what he can do might be two different things.
He says he will submit data for peer review; maybe it will be rejected.
He says he will make an announcement at a major science conference; maybe it will be a poster presentation.
Just playing the devil's advocate here; and I suggest the board be a bit more circumspect. The devil in biotech (there are a lot of them, assuming many different shapes) is in the detail, or, should I say, data?
