If MM's are going to run the share price down, what's the difference whether its from $5 to $1 AS or 0.20 to .04 BS ? Percentage is percentage. Buyers still understand the market cap is still the same. The SP will still be balanced between the buyers and the sellers just like on a normal day. One could just as easily say that after the split the price could climb from $5 to $25. It's just random numbers getting thrown around here.
