Here are my thoughts on this. The three world class statisticians analyzing the top line data have demanded to be paid $3 million each or they will not release the numbers to management.
Fair question. IMO the answer is simple, they are OUT OF MONEY NOW. This last phase is expensive. The company operates on offerings until they partner/get approval+revenue. They want to maintain positive momentum after TLD. They will do another offering a couple months after TLD.
Actually they’re just being consistent with what they’ve done over the years on these deals so I mean if they want to stay consistent they actually had to do this deal
