Unfortunately the abortion argument strays into a religious argument of ensoulment - or when does a fetus become human?

This is an unwinnable argument as science can't answer it at this time.

The argument about masks must also consider the negative effects of wearing them, and those are real. OSHA used to require that medical personnel receive both a pulmonary exam and formal training before masks were worn on the job. There was a reason for this, and those dangers are now being skipped over in advice to the public.

When you understand sex is going to happen, you realize the best way to prevent abortion is contraception. As a society the numbers show this is working as abortions are down per 1000 women. Unfortunately the overall numbers are higher because population is higher. I wish we could reduce numbers further by people being willing to give child up for adoption instead of abortion. Especially while there are good families out there looking to adopt. This requires the right support systems to be in place however.

Wouldnt a mask be like contraception and social distancing like abstinence? Especially if the mask is imbued with antimicrobial substance like Si3N4?
