Yes that is exactly what they do. Hold it down keep it from running until they and all their buddies can load up as cheap as possible.. all the 10000, 5000,1000 sometimes even 100 share trades is them playing games. They are the devil lol

My thoughts on the MM's is that it is all computer generated you do not have the person on the floor any more trying to sell or buy stocks but the computer does all so it is just plugging in stay the same move slightly up/down or move up/down to meet supply and demand. just hit the button you want it to do and walla it happens.

Stock bashing/PPS being held down could be caused by market makers... OR by competitors seeking to suppress certain technology, imo...
