One must recognize that selling covered calls is a very conservative strategy. It's not gambling. Yes if the stock spikes in the event of a BO you wouldn’t reap the rewards. I too wrote thousands of dollars of covered calls against my long position in AMRN. I only wish I had been much more aggressive. Now there's no premium left to apply the strategy.
