Thanks LG. My thoughts are similar in terms of tax concerns. That's why I believe if it doesnt happen by end of this year, I dont know if it will happen anytime soon.

But I dont think a large distribution will happen close to Christmas/New Year time frame as I think most people are already on year end shut down. So I think if it happens, it should happen by the first week of December...just IMO

LG, i agree with you on the tax attributes of LT.Those could be utilized as a new vehicle.JMO.

Escrow markers are non-negotiable and non-marketable securities.Its a contract between two parties.I believe reorganized WMI is the disbursing agent for litigation proceeds,disputed claims reserve and litigation trust held separately from other accounts.

There’s a lot of moving parts to this saga! Interest due 51 quarters! Safe harbor assets! Plus a lot more! How it’s going to come together is anyone’s guess! But it will happen soon in comparison to 12 years! Good luck to all those that released !
