I only hope that they DO have valid reasons for the $ spent

Micro, when I was younger I used to try to imagine what a "scientist" did. All I really remember is imagining what I saw on Gilligan's Island:)

I'm still as naive as that with respect to >99% of occupations or vocations I'd imagine. I started watching one of those researcher videos and no way would I show up for a lab meeting if he was speaking that day, so, good luck.

Power through it.

Honestly Micro any money spent has to be justified. There are audits when you work with grant money.

We used to run to Home Depot to get tubing for some of our precision lab equipment and had to have a half dozen forms signed in triplicate, almost, to get voucher.

I've done work in immunology, but I am not by any stretch of any kind an expert in immunology. I understand the science fairly well and as much as I like the science, I like the management and how they operate as well or better. ~Believe it ~ or not.

Seriously, I was a moment ago surprised when I saw the price. I guess I know what their days are really like and I know no one is fucking off. I know the frustration of being a shareholder and feeling like a mushroom. But I know their frustration is several orders of magnitude greater than ours.
