Cardio thanks for that info and I will have to go back to look at that but JT may price it higher in the EU but it seems as though in that case that V won’t be covered by govt health plans.

Cardio / Montana ...AMRN can charge whatever they like ( ie higher prices ) in the EU if they want ....it doesn't matter . Its the individual country reimbursement policy that counts when most of the drugs are dispensed thru
individual govt health agencies.

The Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement systems established by EU countries are very complex.
Each country uses different schemes and policies, adapted to its own economic and health needs.
These national systems are regularly reviewed or adapted in order to take account of political priorities, market evolutions, and patients' needs

.

So a country like Germany may have a generous reimbursement policy where as a country like Poland may refuse to reimburse any of the cost ....ie the patient, if he/she wants Vascepa ,they pay full retail price.

I have no guess on EU revenues . I think it will be a slow country by country process to determine which countries AMRN can make $ in..... and which they can't.

I think the current PPS reflects and largely discounts, the challenges ahead .
