It would appear that JCP's request to sell off the company in pieces got kicked to the curb (only one piece was valued at 1.75B, the others no idea) then..?

Now October is the deadline for a all or nothing sale?

That first number of 1.75-1.8B was only for part of the company (perhaps 1/3??) while the EC placed a value of 6B to 11B for JCP as a whole.

Would an EC be needed if the entire company now being sold and its a reasonable offer? Just saying, seems like a way to crash the share price if deemed not necessary.
