My personal guess:to the public, wamu was sold to JPM for 1.8 billion. internal details were never disclosed to the general public. this disguise was repeated after the takeover of nationstar. wmih got a bridge loan more then 2 billion $ from where? IMO the LT and also some members of the EC had the task of delaying and laying the wrong track. Hiding as long as they could for a golden nugget!
