I will agree, as I have for some time, AVXL is a trading vehicle.

Even if perspective is longer than 30 minutes, it is possible
to remain interested in the science and benefit (if not game)
the Market.

Not sure I would recommend that "style" to MOST Retail investors.
That is particularly true for those need executions to finalize
before they have the funds to trade.
