It would be like you or I saying I told you so, you shouldn't have hit on a soft 17 when the dealer is showing a 6. He is just playing the biotech odds. If 25% of early studies are successful and he just says they all will fail, he would be correct 75% of the time. He is worthless and anyone that sees enough of him will eventually come to that conclusion.
