It is also written (and I'll paraphrase) - slavery is fine, men are worth more than women, you should always stone people to death for premarital sex (women, at least), stone people to death for cursing their mother or father or for not believing in the invisible man, and plenty of other pearls of wisdom which I am currently too tired to recollect. These things are taken straight from the bible, which I am currently reading. If you'd like to dispute them, I'd be happy to cite chapter and verse tomorrow when I have more time.
