Maybe. I really like Abundance88's observations in this regard - i.e., there may very well be an Altria-Cannadips "something" on the horizon (e.g., possible acquisition). (Explains many things, including much about the Altria-Lexaria relationship.)
Or maybe they're just desperately shouting from the rooftops: "Look - somebody using our IP is maybe going to become successful and make us some money soon!" (Subtext being: "We'll have revenue one if these days, we promise."
