Some kind of talks, yes, likely, IMO. To what end I would not know, but if the results are really good, if I were such a potential pharma, I’d primarily want my big pharma experts completing (or at least guiding) the next regulatory steps.
I like the way you are thinking. Wouldn't it be cool if they already had a partnership agreement (privately) in place with a BP that was contingent on positive trial outcomes? Once positive (hopefully) outcomes became known to the company in the last couple of weeks, this agreement was then finalized and it can be announced publicly shortly after the TLD announcement. That does not really seem far-fetched given results of existing combo studies (animal) and how valuable this company could be to checkpoint inhibitor makers if results are positive.
