JT was warned by Adam Feuerstein that now he was playing on BP Cardiovascular Turf...he advised JT to sell the company...that he could be a "Wall Street Hero." This was right after publication of the full R-I study results. When BO rumors on AMRN popped up, one story I was told was that JT told his BOD he would sell AMRN for nothing less than 3 digits...($100 a share...not $4.27 is what he meant.)
Very long ago I read a very wise man who wrote that many times small Bio-Pharmas with great drugs are "laid-to-waste" because those managements fail to understand that it is rare for a drug to be a success without it being owned by BP. I really thought our management would be smarter than what is apparent today...I was wrong.
