I won’t give too much advice. I’m not an expert. But hospitals will also give it to patients. They give a different form. The kind you buy at the drug store will take a few days for your liver to process and get into the blood stream, which is why you take it daily, and over a period of time. I have read that getting a massive single dose at the doctors office, a single time, is much less effective than taking a daily dose.

Usually they are in an oil, or gummies. I think I’ve heard that the oil used can make a difference. But generally speaking, I do not think it is one of those vitamins that is hard to absorb. Just that vitamins you take are not immediately absorbed. So take it daily and build it up. I do not take super huge mega doses. Though I did take a bit more than my now usual daily dose, initially. Now I just try to maintain. But every person is different.
