Haha, Neil Young. I remember he played there. But so did Bowie, but he was more strange and off kilter than Young. I had a lot of software engineer friends also who helped create the .com boom, and a lot of the NYC kids who became brave enough in the early 80’s to venture over and join the party. It was the rebirth of New York from the ashes. Had friends who ended up on Wall Street, one became a Director at JC Morgan/Chase. Lots of diversity. I miss it

Yeah, I think I remember you now. You were sitting there, over a few beers, a new member of the Young Republicans, debating Reagonomics with a youngish future wannabe poker player statistician, dreaming of BP employment as a fall back, in that smokey room full of recent Peace Corp volunteers, just back from Africa. Yup, you decided then and there to also devote your life to helping others...in your case, those poor misled retail investors. Here’s to a life well led.
