Great points. Good to consider all. Also this is just a sample for case makers. Apple may decide not to share a “true” frame prior to release.

Interesting, they needed to find "the best matched" part for each frame. Indicating that the precision of the machined aluminum frame was not as great as I thought. Aircraft aluminum would be even more difficult for a high precision part. One would think that BMG would solve this problem.
