So why wasn’t BMG being used in iPhone X then.....

It can not fulfill the “mirror finish” spec upon “one step process”. Rework/Polish (ultra hard) BMG is very time and $ costly.
Note LM105 was not the material used then.

So what change.......

BB told us 106c has the same great finish.
