If there’s a $100+ price target why does this sit under $50?

Sell-side analysts generally set a lofty price target that’s well above the current share price, and most seasoned investors don’t take the number seriously.

In this instance, I commented on Roth’s price target only because it happened to be close to my own 2019 calculation of what ENTA could get in a potential buyout, based on reasonable assumptions about cost synergies.
