Perhaps it was that. MM’s dropping the price to .005 in the middle of a rally going to .79, may have spooked them. No one knows what that was about. Then the MM’s made the brokers break the trades, at least by buyers. Hard to know exactly all that happened. But that cooled interest I am pretty sure, and I would not be surprised if fundamentally that was the purpose of it even if whatever it was it was inaptly executed. Fat finger or what, or maybe not.
