I agree with you that a buyout is the only logical route to go. As far as price, I remember a conversation on this board about valuations of US and EU. The prevailing number being talked about for just the US at that time was 42/share. Knowing that Europe is just as big and lucrative why shouldn’t we get between 25 and 30 for EU and China , Canada and rest of the world. JT needs to SELLOUT NOW. There is no debate left!!!!!
$25 pps given U.S. would rather suffer heart disease than suffer "fish oil" patents--sure. Better than nothing. I think EU and China are worth more, but sign me up.
This legal debacle isn't the worst tragedy in history, but it is pretty ass. This experience alone has made me much more centrist than before.
Thank you so much! I will be on my knees thanking god to give us what you described.
It make perfect sense, I remember one thing odd, still odd. That JT stoped dtc and resumed again, now still continue. The potential buyer’s intention seems the most logical reason.
CBB the desperate loser in me wants to believe your source, but I think the company would have been sold by now if it was going to be sold. I think JT has decided to ride or die with GIA, another great decision to go along with this patent trial.
