I'm no expert here - however I do remember at ADCOM1 - Janet (I believe it was Janet) telling AMRN that if they wanted to go the way of the diet supplement then they can say what they wanted to versus having to go thru a CVOT to first prove Vascepa's benefit before they could use the language they were seeking as a drug. Higher standards for pharmacological vs. diet supplement.

Well AMRN has proven Vascepa's benefits. If our IP is stolen and there is no fix - then market the shit out of this thing as a diet supplement in the United States only - and clearly call out the competitors as failing to prove what AMRN has proven.
