Th application / approval valid for the product ... for one, specific, drug (not for a "class of drug") ... and the exclusivity also. The answer: no, each generics has to file an individual application for approval but they could not rely on the data submitted by Amarin for Vascepa till the 8th anniversary and cannot be placed on the market, even if the generic product has already received a marketing authorisation till the 10th anniversary of the approval of Vascepa.

Will Lar is trying to spread doubt by his points. Not sure what his motives are, but they don’t seem pure to me.
