Here is the website of the Austrian company that built the hydro dam of Ashta 1 and 2.

Remember that 2 of 3power shala hydro dams are run of the mill and is only diverting the water flow to a channel to extract electricity and these tunneling projects will only take 6 months to a year at most to complete. The larger hydro dam will take 2 to 3 years to construct.

They started construction right away the concession was signed September 2008, the shpk was founded. The EIA was completed in April 2009 and construction permits were issued and construction was started in January 2010. This was less than 2 years. Now we have the coronovirus. It took them 3 years to construct this hydro dam.

It basically cost 200 million euros for 242 million kilowatt hours to generate roughly 24.2 million euros in revenue a year. The electrical grid was already constructed that they had to tap into so our electrical grid was completed in 2016 and just turned on for operations. September 2020 will be a big deal for our projects as I bet they all aligned to use this new transmission line on the border of Kosovo and Albania.
