-Albania and Kosovo will continue the tradition of joint meetings in September

Kosovo and Albania will continue this year the tradition of joint meetings between the two governments where new agreements will be signed and will be discussed to advance the implementation of previous agreements.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albulena Balaj-Halimaj, during an interview for the media in Kosovo stated that the joint meeting between the two governments is expected to be held in the second half of September.

She stated that three "big" agreements will be signed at this meeting .

"We have started with meetings which will organize the joint meeting between the two Governments, which is expected to be held in the second half of September. Last week I had a meeting with the organizing council, we are working to coordinate between the two governments for the next agreements ", stressed the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo.

"I will call them three bigger agreements, the first is the Customs in Durrës , the railway line and the Hydropower Plant that will be built in the Republic of Albania for Kosovo", she underlined.

Balaj-Halimaj also spoke about the agreements signed years ago and their implementation. She said that there is agreement between the two parties to push forward the agreements reached, which have stalled in implementation.

According to her, in the next meeting there will be completion of some past agreements.
