What was the fraud and criminal behavior you speak of with Mcdermett? Mcdermett was a dumpster fire of debt, there weren't any options except the plan. And the SEC lawyer was objecting rule to keep shareholders from suing certain parties, not actual fraud?

He threw McDermott shareholders under the bus despite all the fraud of the CEO and CFO, with public statements during late 2019 that 'everything is fine, dont sell', while everything was not fine. Allowed those scumbags $105m in bonuses right before the fraud CH 11 filing (dwarfing JCPs $10m for the cow and crones), filled in the blanks for MDR/debtor counsel during the joke of a confirmation hearing on March 12 (downright unethical for any federal judge IMO appearing as an advocate for 1 side or the other), overruled with arrogance a RARE STRONG SEC objection from Sonia Chae on behalf of MDR shareholders (feel free to appeal he said), and if all that aint enough, slammed the gavel knowing he condoned all that criminal behavior IMO.

The judge is of an age where JCPenney might actually have an emotional play on him. JCP catalogs were what made that company something. He may just help save it because it's the only thing in the world left that makes him feel young again.
