Who cares about short volume. Every stock has short positions which are legal. The problem has been dilution which people continue to turn a blind eye. That has more bearing on how the company is valued. Last count is 338 million which should increase to 360 next update .
There are now 372,756 shares available according to IB if one wants to short now. So, covering has started since there were none available for the past few days. That's a big chunk of todays volume. Perhaps, some of it was covered yesterday and just not reported until today?
