There are now 372,756 shares available according to IB if one wants to short now. So, covering has started since there were none available for the past few days. That's a big chunk of todays volume. Perhaps, some of it was covered yesterday and just not reported until today?

I have a feeling unless we see some really quick and big volume on the UP side, the next Reported Short Interest will be over 5 million shares.
