Mississippi-based U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. (USSEC) recently completed a reverse merger of Laforza Automobiles Inc., which was added to the Ludlow Energy SmallCap Index. USSEC has a patent-pending technology that converts soybeans or corn into organic fertilizer, biogas and biofuel. The biofuel has a unique molecular structure that can be used in gasoline and diesel engines, according to USSEC CEO John Rivera. The company recently named I.C. Thomasson Associates Inc. as the design/build firm for the reported $750 million plant that is currently being built in Natchez, Miss. It will reportedly produce 1.3 million gallons of biofuel per day.
