Well put. In the last Two months I’ve seen Probably 200+ covids in the ER. Have only intubated a handful but admitted probably 40
I’ve not been tested in any way but was sick with 103 fever for days right after Super Bowl. Then kid had a fever for 18 days. No shit! Both fine. I know of several colleagues that have likely had it but have negative antibody tests....yet they fine...I’m fine despite daily relatively intimate contact. I am type o blood. I’ve seen so many people now with covid and been oK that I now leap to take care of them so others on duty don’t have too...cause ya never know
I guess my point is that the tests seem to be rather questionable and perhaps immaterial. So many friends who are on the front line have been devastated by their negative tests. Lastly, I honestly believe AMRN is gonna win and we will all be rewarded handsomely. Keep the faith. Lem
You cannot have a positive IgG and then later have a negative IgG - those antibodies stick around forever - more likely they had an initial false positive - you _can_ have IgM be positive then later turn negative, that one indicates a current active infection. All of this worry about lower antibody levels are recovering from CV19 are a bit overblown IMO - it's memory T and B cells that provide lasting protection, they can trigger the creation of new antibodies if an antigen is detected a second time.
