That would be self-detrimenta.. Sure someone with lots of stocks could keep the price low for a while, but the thing is it doesn't change the fundamentals. The company is profitable and making money and eventually the stock price will reflect its fair value. Then the ones that have lost out are the same people selling off to keep the price down.
