It’s sad but unfortunately true. He has said that once the Peer Reviews are actually printed or issued with all the lab test facts and findings while naming the RBL’s that performed the testing (the higher the lab is regarded the more “weight” the findings hold), then the hospital and decision makers can make a choice when / if New York faces another round of CV-19 infections. It would be especially helpful if the RBL’s did the lab testing comparing Brilacidin to the other current treatment Remdesivir so as to present comparison findings. It will be very interesting once the Pre-Print of the PEER Reviews are released. Trust me - I will be printing it and handing it to him and also sending him the link to it so that he has it in front of him.

Caregivers have insurance policies and the policies most likely include provisions that protect the insurance company if the insurer ...

...followed by a list of prohibitions most likely including "uses medication not yet tested and approved by the FDA".

Your kin is just doing what his/her institution (and the insurer) demand he/she do, or don't do.
