I just wish Rory and Jeff would stop rewarding themselves so handsomely

They are not rewarding themselves. It was the independent board members that decided to give them a reward so they hired an independent firm (GAP) to come up with a reward program that would be similar to VERB's peers. Once GAP developed the plan, the BoD approved. There is no Rory or Jeff in this process.
