This is a good point alan81. I don’t think that hdvy can claim any lost revenue from its products since it’s never had anything that competes with Intel. However they can claim lost revenue from what should have been a licensing agreement that generated royalty payments.

I think you forgot to mention the damages INTC, Google, and others, have done with the SVM patent. It’s no different than Samsung neglecting the Apple patent and their software using the Apple bar on tablets.

I m pretty sure the $1 billion judgement was ruled but it only factored in 1.x percentage of US Samsung’s total NET REVENUE
