I assume Boeing and Airbus are going to be selling a lot of planes post-vaccine as large swaths of older aircraft has been removed from service.

It'll be an exciting time - sort of the opposite of now.

That's a good observation. Somewhere around 2023-24, a bunch of these folks who jumped into boating and found out how much work it is and how much it really costs, are going to be selling for whatever they can get.

One of the attractions of a boat for us is that you can take it to the Bahamas in December and mostly anchor out for free all winter in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

There's an old saying: A boat is a hole in the water where you dump your money. We do a lot of our own regular maintenance to keep that to a minimum.

Mantus Marine is famous for their anchors but they also make a lightweight scuba system so you can dive in the water and clean your hull of the little critters and hangers-on. It's like pulling weeds in your yard, just under water.

You do have to get used to working on your boat in a place where you see sharks. They're protected in the Bahamas. Almost none of them have any interest in a human dumb enough to be under water but if one does, you have to calmly go aboard and do your work later. As Wanda Sykes said in one of her routines, "It's the sharks house".
