As of right now STLHF is #1 in oil field brines. And are at least 18 months ahead of E3. E3 says they are faster but that is in a lab where equipment is cleaned after each use or as needed. The problem comes when they scale up. The last step to make hydroxide a problem occurs, scaling on the pipe builds up and can flake off. We do not know yet what is happening with either company, yet.
But Joe Lowry is the expert, and he says STLHF is the place he put some of his money. I would take his expertise over my novice knowledge any day.
And don't forget STLHF is in the USA, and the demand just got bigger.
