In addition, the existing antifungals are pretty obsolete (CTZ/all the Azoles). It's definitely a huge market ... especially for VVC ...all the women around the world.
I was always curious back in the OM days if that formulation would work on Thrush and other yeast infections. It's not a tiny market and could become a huge over the counter drug.
Anti-fungal appears to be a $3B+ market in the US.
Say Brilacidin ends up accounting for 5% of that. $150M+ * 6% = $9M+ in freebie revenues. Put a 13x multiple on that and you have our market cap justified by this alone.
Not bad for something we didn't know about.
Also, keep in mind this likely would have a cream form which may be a good delivery method for Acne and other lesser but widespread skin infections/inflammations.
